spamming pronographic links Today another new attack Spreading through Facebook users with Zeus Bot. The researchers of Danish security firm CSIS, has finded a worm spreading within the Facebook profiles. A new worm has entered Facebook, using that stolen user credentials to log in to victims' accounts and send malicious links to thire friends. The worm also downloads and installs a variety of malware to computer including a vearaity of the Zeus bot.
According to the reporter of blogg THN if user folllowed the link it takes the victim to a page where offer any downloadable content such as wallpapers or screen savers but proceeding ro downaload such content it starts to automatically dwonload exicutable files (.exe) without the Knowledge of the user rather than a JPEG file. once it run on the system it produce a vareity of malicious files to infect the system and it include ZeuS, a popular Trojan spyware that capable of stealing user information from infected systems
the cracked version of Zeus code that make easier for low level attackers to work with the malware . it have a wide varaity of capabilites such as stealing user data , bank credentials from infected systems
"The worm carries a cocktail of malware onto your system, including a Zbot/ZeuS variant which is a highly serious threat and stealing sensitive information from the infected system," warn the researchers.The worm is hosted on a variety of domains, so the link in the malicious message may vary. Other servers are used to collect the data sent by the aforementioned malware and to serve additional malicious software.
